Why Was This Map Created?

A feeling of confidence and power can not allow you to do things in life that you may feel seem impossible, but it can also help you increase your ability to get the absolute best results in all sorts of situations in life. The challenge is that you can't just be told to have confidence - it usually doesn't help. What you can do is train yourself feel confident and powerful, which, when done enough, can become an automatic response anytime you need it.

How To Use The Various Elements Of The Map

  • Doing The Pose - As shown on the LifeMap, it's a very simple process to do the power pose. The main thing to keep in mind is that, during the 2 minutes while you do the pose, feel as powerful as you can - pretend to be a powerful person! Listen to some motivating music, if that helps!
  • When? - The power pose can really be done anytime you like, but doing it in the morning can have a positive effect on your entire day. It's probably best to do the pose in private, so you don't freak people out with what you're doing. :-)
  • Why? - It's been known for some time that how we think and feel can affect our body - how we hold ourselves. The opposite is also true...we can affect how we think and feel (at a hormonal level) by how we stand - our posture and body language.

  • Practice doing the power pose right away - right now, to understand the process

  • Keep it somewhere visible
  • Practice doing the power pose every morning for 2 minutes for the next week (at least), or whenever you need a boost of confidence
